HOME ENERGY GRANTS
The Sustainable Authority of Ireland SEAI offers a wide range of grants designed to help you upgrade your home, making it warmer and more energy efficient. You can apply here by following the link https://www.seai.ie/grants/home-energy-grants/ and start your journey to lower energy bills.
You may apply for an insulation Grant if your home was built and occupied before 2006
NEW BUILDING REGULATIONS – FROM 1st November 2019
The Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government has introduced a new Building Regulations (Part L) that came into force on 1st November 2019.
The New Building regulations require that after any alteration to a minimum of 25% of your homes surface area, your home either achieves a minimum BER B2 rating or your heating system and attic insulation comply with the Building Regulation Standards.
Please discuss this with our surveyor who will be able to guide you on any further upgrades you may require.
